Where did March go? It’s hard to believe it’s already April and time for a new challenge!! Most everyone if you think hard enough about it have a dream that has come true for them. So this month think about what dreams you have had over the years, be they little or big, and do a page about one or more that has come true.

For each layout, you must use at least one element or paper from Blushbutter and/or Dusty Bear.
There will be a different theme each month, for your layout, along with a list of quotes, elements, or a font, you also have to include in your layout!

This month we are going to think about the dreams we have had come true. Share at least one of them on a layout for us to see, they can be simple or more complex.

Printable Edwardian Lady in Pink ball dress by Chase William Merrit.

This is made from the Original artwork of Chase William Merrit "A Portrait of a Lady in Pink" which you can see below.
I just had to add beautiful layering of tulle, feathers,and ribbon roses to her for enphasizing what a beautiful girl she is. I touched up her face to make her more smiling and gave her a little blush. After messing around with my Victorian Lady I just had to go and peruse through some of my other lovelies in my public domain folder and came across this gorgeous girl in a beautiful soft pink apricot dress and I couldn't just leave her as she was LOL

My Mum and I were wondering what she was thinking, she has a moody pensive face, I thought sore feet from dancing because she had on such a pretty dress she wouldn't have been left on the side lines waiting for a dance partner but Mum thought that she could have been waiting to be asked for a dance. It's nice to think about what moods and lives were like that are behind some of these gorgeous works of art. In my rendition I tweaked her smile a little and gave her a little blush on her cheeks, smoothed out the painting in places and gave her a whole new coiffured hairstyle.

By special request from one of my customers who adored my Mother's Day card I gave my Mum last year, I have made this kit "A Victorian Lady". I will post the original public domain image that inspired me to play with colours and feathers. I love the beautiful layered dresses and petticoats from that time and era.

Here is my Mothers day card above and below is the artwork that inspired it. I always wonder where was she off to in such a hurry, the artist has captured the moment beautifully and delicately, I am enchanted by this image. One of the things I love to do on a Lazy Sunday afternoon is go through my large collection of beautiful public domain images and imagine stories about the characters.
