| Step 2. Windows Installation, locate "My Computer" then> Local disk(C:)> Program files> Adobe > and you version of Photoshop> Preset folder> Styles > and paste your styles in here | |
Step 3. As shown here in example |

| Step 4. Open your Program and the flat lace file you want to Ruffle making sure your styles and Effects Pallet is open as shown | |
| Step 5. Select the drop down arrow for the Newly installed layer styles | |
| Step 6. after duplicating the original file change the blending mode to overlay or colour burn, it depends on what colours your fabric are, so use your own choices as to which you do. | |
| Step 7. Now select the bottom layer and apply the layering style | |
| Step 8. see the instant effects of the style , you may want to change the beveling size and light distribution by double clicking the small "f" to open the Style setting pop up window | |
| Step 9. Open a new layer, drag it below the Ruffled layer and then merge visible or merge down to set the style. | |
| Step 10. Right click the layer in the layers pallet and duplicate the layer. | |
| Step 11. Changing the blending mode of the layers pallet will enhance the colours and intensity of the ruffling making the original colours of the lace file show through as shown here | |
| Step 12. when your happy with the intensity Merge all layers or flatten file | |
| Step 13. Flatten file and save as a png and new file | |
